Meet Our Organizers

Wedding dance floor diva since the age of three, Genevieve can't stop grooving. She can be found sitting in traffic, dancing behind the steering wheel, or consuming stories in every medium imaginable. A cultivator of experiences she is always excited to plan a gathering in the name of socializing, learning, or creating, she absolutely adores the PhB community and can't wait to see you on the dance floor!

Miryam was introduced to blues at an Oberlin College late night dance, fell in love, and has since taught in Oberlin, New York, and now Philadelphia. Miryam is passionate about giving dancers the tools to be more self-aware about their dancing through kinesthetic awareness and interactive classes, encouraging dancers to find their own self-expression within the history and aesthetic of blues. Miryam is thrilled to organize for such a welcoming and fun scene; come ask her to dance!
